Why Study English?
English is a core subject and is fundamental to everyday life. The skills that are taught play a crucial part in supporting pupils in other curriculum areas and life beyond school. We firmly believe in a growth mind-set where all pupils can make excellent progress.
“I didn’t like English before I came to CPA, the lessons here are interesting and I can ask for help.”

Karen Challen and Paula Taylor teach KS3 English, both of whom are experienced English teachers.
